Police appeal for help after robbery

Police have renewed their appeal for information after a robbery and assault in Surry Hills last year.
A 28-year-old man was assaulted and robbed of his wallet and mobile phone at the intersection of Crown and Tudor Streets on Monday December 3 at about 1.20am and as a result was taken to St Vincent’s Hospital with fractures to his nose, cheek and leg.
The victim’s credit cards were used a short time later at a number of locations including a fast food restaurant on George Street in the city and a service station on Flinders Street at Darlinghurst.
Police have descriptions of four men who they believe might be able to assist with investigations.
The first man is of Aboriginal appearance and 20 to 25 years of age. He was wearing a yellow jumper with a ‘Puma’ insignia on the front, blue knee length shorts with a white stripe and white runners.
The second man is of Aboriginal appearance, 25 years of age and 183cm tall. He was wearing a light coloured hooded jumper, black shorts and white runners.
The third man was wearing a white jumper, black tracksuit pants and white runners.
The fourth male is also of Aboriginal appearance, 15 to 17 years of age, with short, curly, ginger coloured hair and a thin build. He was wearing a dark blue and white striped polo shirt.

Meanwhile, City Central Police were called to an area near Cockle Bay wharf at Darling Harbour about 1.30am last Sunday following reports of a fight.
Police found a man, believed to be aged 23, suffering a number of stab wounds to his back and arms.
He was taken to St Vincent’s Hospital in a serious condition by ambulance and has since undergone surgery.
Police arrested three men at the scene.
Police divers searched the harbour for a weapon believed used in the incident.
