NSW ALP Right playing dirty

NSW ALP Right playing dirty

BY KIERAN ADIAR

With the ALP tipped to lose the next state election, rumour is spreading that the party right have decided it’s prime to “clear house” of the left – destroying key plays, by intentionally discrediting them as the party goes down.

One party insider speculated to the City Hub that this is the reason behind Premier Kristina Keneally’s recent crucifixion of Verity Firth, State Minister for Education and rising star within the ALP lefts ranks, over the school oil heater fiasco.

Ms Keneally rose to power through the party right, but promised to use her position as Premier to bridge the gap between the divided party.

It would appear this truce is about to be broken.
