Metro rally attracts attention

We weren’t totally sold on the relevance, but then again, we weren’t really fussed – Latin dancers create a stir at the Rozelle Metro rally on August 15. Speakers at the rally included Leichhardt Mayor Jamie Parker, Councillor Darcy Byrne, State Opposition Spokesperson for Transport Gladys Berejiklian, and Chadi Tahan, whose pharmacy is under threat of compulsory acquisition to make way for the proposed station. Organisers estimated around a thousand people attended the rally.
