Ferragosto ’09
Chefs on stilts were just one of the many attractions at the annual Italian Ferragosto Festival in Five Dock on Sunday, August 16. Festivalgoers amused themselves with activities including games of bocce, gnocchi-making workshops, Brazilian drumming, puppet shows, arts and crafts, while a lineup of classic Fiat cars drew the petrolheads in the crowd. Over 50,000 people turned out on Great North Road to enjoy the music on the main stage, the ambience in the FerraPiazza, and the traditional Italian cuisine at FerraKitchen.
