EVENT: CABINET FESTIVAL
Consider the items you might put in a cabinet – trinkets, photo frames, books – any eclectic mix of items that, when placed together, burst into a cacophony of stories! Rinse Out Inc., the crew responsible for Underbelly Public Arts Lab & Festival, have created a menagerie of Sydney’s art, theatre, film and music scene’s most interesting trinkets and are putting them on display at Cabinet, at Marrickville’s The Red Rattler. Their first event included theatre duo CuBBYOuSE, a live art and music jam, DJs and short films. A fortnightly event, start your Cabinet collection this Sun Oct 25 with a dash of rooftop DJing and video art action, a performance from ERTH or even join in the music making with James Nichols’ The Dub Table – and all for just ten clams!
