You know it, I know it, we all know it. Sydney’s art community knows how to flaunt it. But just in case you need any more reminding head along to Art & About this October and discover just how creatively crazy Sydney’s artists can be. A part of the month-long Crave Festival, a celebration of, “Sydney’s unmatched way of life”, this annual art exhibit will see the city’s parks, laneways, galleries and other public spaces transform into canvases of colour, creativity and artistic invention. Take a stroll through the Sydney Life photo exhibition in Hyde Park, soak up the performances along the beloved boulevard that is Oxford Street, step into the interactive urban home or fall in love with the I Heart Kings Cross knitting installation. There’s a sprinkling of artistic magic for every taste. So, stimulate your creative spirit and get behind Sydney artists … not that they need any encouragement.
