Evening concerts at the zoo

The very popular Twilight At Taronga concerts are back this summer, with tickets selling fast and many shows already sold out. It’s no surprise either, considering the incredible line-up of talent in this year’s program. 

The Cat Empire sold out their first show and a second added show. John Butler, Ball Park Music and The Waifs have also all sold out. One of the original and most enduring ABBA tribute acts, Bjorn Again, sold out their first show in nano-seconds and have added a second show. Get in quick, though. 

There are more great shows in the month long program, including a comedy gala featuring Celia Pacquola, Dave Hughes, Nikki Britton, Ivan Aristeguieta and MC Daniel Connell; a supergroup rock concert featuring members of Spiderbait, Powderfinger, Jet and You Am I; a Drag Gala with Karen From Finance, Art Simone, Spankie Jackzon plus Jojo Zaho, Maxi Shield and more.

Jazz legend James Morrison will present From Swing To Soul, a perfect chill-out vibe with the gorgeous cityscape and harbour as a backdrop. Australian sensation, Meg Mac opens the series this Friday, and Aussie legends, The Whitlams will close it out on March 2. 

For the little ones, there are two special morning Li’l Twilight shows. Emma Memma will perform with MC Benny Time this Saturday, and Zindzi & The Zillionaires will be joined by The Vegetable Plot on March 2.
