Dive Bondi Bay without getting wet
Bondi’s first custom-built attraction, Underwater Bondi Experience, at Bondi Pavilion’s Marine Discovery Centre will open from Good Friday.
Visitors go on a virtual dive of Bondi Bay through walk-through audio visual experiences that include a world-first recreation of an actual dive site authentic to North Bondi, featuring its giant pink boulders with their trademark holes burrowed out by generations of black sea urchins. Concealed amid the boulders are aquariums with local marine life, including baby sharks.
Underwater Bondi Experience opens 9am-5pm, seven days, throughout school holidays. Cost: $10 adults; $5 children; $25 families.
