Bronte School fair knitting face-off

Needles at the ready for the famous bi-annual Bronte School Fair Tea Cosy knitting comp. Yes it’s time again for eastern suburbs knitting circles to closely guard their tea cosy patterns and yarns.

Bronte School Fair is held every two years as a massive fundraising event for the school P&C. Reading assistance courses, interactive white boards and rebuilding of the school hall have been recent fundraising recipients.
The fair is on Sunday August 24 from 10 am to 3pm, and will be opened by Mayor Ingrid Strewe who will also reveal the winners of the tea cosy comp at 10 am. First prize for the knitting champ will be a meal for four at the Bondi Tratt, plus many runners up prizes.
All cosies will be donated to the craft stall. Join the knitters or just come along on the day to admire the works of art to adorn your teapots.
