The body of a missing 64-year-old man from the Inner West was found in Rozelle Bay this morning after NSW Police appealed for the public’s help to locate him earlier this week.
The man was last seen at his home in Annandale at around 10:00 pm on Sunday and was reported missing to Leichhardt Police after he failed to return home.
He was reported to have several medical conditions, and his family and police expressed concerns for his welfare.
At around 11:30 this morning, the body of a man was found in Rozelle Bay. While the body is yet to be formally identified, it is believed to be that of the missing 64-year-old man. NSW Police said a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
It comes as officers located his car in Jubilee Park car park on Monday night, with an emergency alert text describing the man and his vehicle was sent to mobiles in the Inner West shortly after, appealing for anyone with information to contact the police.
