BJORK – BASTARDS

Bjork’s 2011 album Biophilia got a series of work overs when it was released and a compilation of some of the best have been re-released under the stylised title bastards; offering up a variety takes of Biophilia songs characterised by Bjork a cappelas over heavy synths and industrial beats. Hudson Mohawke, Death Grips, Matthew Herbert and more are on here and every remix is just as interesting as the original versions but with the catch that it obviously doesn’t have the same coherent sound of the original record. However if you wanna hear the ice princess’ stories told a different way you’ve come to the right place.
