Best Small Bar: Shop and Wine Bar

My husband used to think he wasn’t cool enough for The Shop and Wine bar because he doesn’t wear skinny jeans, have a moustache or drive a Combi. But after a lazy Sunday breakfast of crispy prosciutto with sweet corn, jalapeno relish and a poached egg, with a great cappuccino to wash it down, these concerns paled into insignificance. The menu, like the venue, is small but well-appointed. The Shop definitely puts the “small” in small bar and seats are hard to come by but well worth the wait.
