The best way to keep warm this winter is probably to snuggle under the covers with someone. The Uncle Ming’s cocktail, Hot Toshi is your next best winter warming option. Someone asked on Twitter if it’s like a Hot Toddy.  My friend Jeremy replied, “better.” The Hot Toshi is a particularly elegant combination: Nikka Pure Malt smoky Japanese whisky, apple and spiced honey syrup and green tea. Or you could also drink the Pure Malt neat like I did. Uncle Ming’s by the way has the largest collection of Japanese whiskies in Sydney, but it’s not the only reason to make this opium den basement your winter hangout. You could pick up for starters! Failing that, any of the booze selections should keep you happy: cocktails especially the teapots, the fine selection of Asian beers, Japanese sakes or Korean soju. Go!
