Acclaimed Beatles tribute show returns to Sydney Opera House

Australia’s favourite Beatles concert, All You Need Is Love, is making its return to the Sydney Opera House this January! With two performances on the 1st and 2nd of January 2025, this much-loved show will bring together music fans to celebrate The Beatles’ timeless classics.
The concert will feature over 40 performers, including vocalists Jack Jones, Ciaran Gribbin, Rai Thistlethwayte, and Jackson Thomas, who will be backed by the 35-piece Strawberry Fields Rock Orchestra and The Day Tripper Band. Together, they will deliver live renditions of some of The Beatles’ most iconic songs, including Hey Jude, Let It Be, Eleanor Rigby, and A Day in the Life.
Since its debut in 2015, All You Need Is Love has been recognized as one of Australia’s standout Beatles shows. Produced by Phil Bathols and Tim Woods, this event offers more than just a standard tribute—it’s a unique concert experience that transforms beloved tracks with full orchestral arrangements. “The songs are definitely popular Beatles songs, but they’ve been chosen because they lend themselves to orchestration,” says co-producer Bathols.
The concert also honours the contributions of The Beatles’ collaborator and producer George Martin, who played a key role in shaping the sound of many of their most memorable tracks. Through intricate arrangements and a live rock band, this performance highlights Martin’s legacy while breathing new life into a wide variety of familiar songs.
Held in the Sydney Opera House’s prestigious Concert Hall, the show is set to be an enjoyable and memorable experience for fans of all ages. Past performances have earned rave reviews, with The AU Review describing the event as “magnifique,” and The Music noting the show more than deserves the standing ovations it receives.
