Sydney high school teacher Tayla Brailey has been accused of engaging in sex acts with two students while they were in her care.
In April, Tayla Brailey was arrested at a school in the city’s southwest after it was alleged a 17-year-old boy had been sexually touched by a teacher.
According to court documents reported by SMH, Brailey allegedly accessed, possessed and solicited child abuse material of a 16-year-old student on Instagram prior to the abuse.
Additionally, three incidents involving the same student occurred within 20 minutes on July 25. One of the incidents involved Brailey allegedly asking the student to have sexual intercourse with her on school grounds.

The 30-year-old is also to have allegedly sexually touched the student and encouraged him to sexually touch her between 3:20 pm and 3:40 pm.
The next day, she allegedly had sex with a different student in his car.
In August, police officers charged Brailey with six additional offences.
The charges include inciting a person under care to sexually touch, sexually touch person under special care, sexual intercourse with person under care and using a carriage service to solicit and access child abuse material.
The NSW Department of Education has suspended the teacher without pay in light of the charges.
“The safety and welfare of students are our highest priorities,” a department spokesperson said at the time.
On Wednesday, Brailey appeared in Campbelltown Local Court, accompanied by family, where her conditional bail was upheld.
Her strictly bail conditions prohibits her from entering any educational facility and Bailey must remain at home unless accompanied by her parents.
The court also heard allegations that the teacher exchanged sexual videos with a student on Instagram over a 12-day period, according to 7 News.
While her lawyer initially claimed she denied the allegations, the court noted that Brailey had made some admissions to police about both students, although the details of those admissions are not clear.
Brailey’s hearing is set to resume on October 30, but she will not need to attend court after her lawyer requested an exemption due to media scrutiny.
Her bail conditions prohibit her from accessing social media, entering Lurnea, contacting her alleged victims or any prosecution witnesses, being on any educational facility, and being in the presence of a minor unless accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Brailey’s arrest occurred just 11 months after she married her longtime partner in Wollongong.
